Timeshare-Answers Review

Timeshare-Answers has been made aware of many timeshare scams that are ongoing daily to consumers. If the resort, or a resale company has scammed you, or made any other offer that is too good to be true, we can help. Our staff has heard thousands of consumer complaints, making us experts in providing you the answers to many questions in the timeshare industry.

Case in point:

William, a timeshare owner, was at home one evening when he got a call from a company claiming to have a buyer for his timeshare. He believed the caller only because a month earlier, he got a similar call from a different company offering to list his timeshare for sale. The listing company said that they would market his timeshare for sale at a profit to him of almost double what he paid. He had a feeling that it was to good to be true, but went along with it anyway because they offered a 90-day money back guarantee if it didn't sell. After he paid the fee of $600.00 to list his property, he thought, “well I only have to wait 90 days and if it doesn't sell I get my $600.00 back.”

Well the call to buy his timeshare came exactly 60 days after he paid the listing company. The so-called buyer told him, they found his ad on the listing companies website and they were willing to pay the asking price. The only condition was they wanted him to pay the closing costs.

William decided, after receiving very official looking documents, this was fair and wired the closing costs of 20% to a so-called escrow account. Once the money was wired William never heard from the company again, and because he wired the money to the company, the money was as good as gone. He notified the authorities after calling Timeshare-Answers for advice.

If only William had called us before giving any money to either company, he would have been provided with the information that would have saved him from this elaborate scam.

Many of these timeshare SCAMS happen daily to consumers all over the world. It seems there is a new one popping up everyday. Do not fall victim to a resale scam or a resort scam. Call Timeshare-Answers before you pay anything to anyone when it comes to your timeshare. 888-722-2648
