How to get out of a timeshare

How to get out of a timeshare is a question that every timeshare owner will have at some point in time. Remembering back to the first tour you did with the timeshare resort and the words the sales person deliberately spoke but was just as deliberate in not putting it in writing. “You can sell it for a profit”, “The resort will buy it back for what you bought it for, and you can give it to your children”. The most important thing they failed to tell you, whether in 5 years, 10 years, or even 20 years, you will be desperately trying to comprehend how none of those words were actually true and you are now stuck with the timeshare. You have paid countless people to sell it for you, because that is what the timeshare resort said you could do! You have asked the resort to simply buy it back as you were told, again to no avail. So, after many attempts you sit frustrated and mad, trying to figure out how to get out of a timeshare. Well wonder no more, we have the highest success rate in the industry and we work hard for you the consumer to save you from the mounting debt the timeshare company and sales person have manipulated you into buying. The Burden of a Timeshare

Getting rid of timeshares is almost impossible. When the timeshare companies mislead you into buying a timeshare based on a bunch of verbal promises, the one thing they never tell you is that you wont be able to get rid of your timeshare. There are very few things in this world that are a lifetime commitment. You buy a house; you can sell it, you have a job; you can leave it and get a new one. However, once you sign on the dotted line of that 30-page timeshare agreement, you can almost never get rid of that timeshare. Regardless of what that sales person told you, timeshares have NO RESALE VALUE, and the resorts WILL NOT BUY THEM BACK. If you were lied to or misrepresented and you have not been able to get rid of your timeshare, call us now. We have the experience and know how to legally get rid of your timeshare.  Do not leave the burden to your children.

Timeshare Attorneys

During the 4 or 5 hours it took you to buy a timeshare, which was only suppose to be 90 minutes, the licensed relator told you a slew of lies. As hard working people, we want to believe, when we make a major financial commitment, we are making a smart choice. The problem is, typically when we are on vacation we are in an elevated state of joy. The timeshare companies count on this joy to commit major timeshare fraud. Timeshare companies are careful to have good timeshare attorneys in place to protect the timeshare company. These Timeshare attorneys take very careful measures to have the buyer initial things like “I understand I should not rely on any representations other than those contained in these document” Well you just spent 5 hours with someone that earned your trust and when you are signing your 30+ document you are rushed through these areas of the contract. Why? It is simply because the timeshare attorneys are paid a lot of money to protect the timeshare companies, not the consumer. By the time you realize; you were told countless lies from your licensed relator, it is too late and you are stuck. Do not trust these timeshare companies or their timeshare attorneys.

Timeshare Scam

Timeshare-Answers has been made aware of many timeshare scams that are ongoing daily to consumers. If the resort, or a resale company has scammed you, or made any other offer that is too good to be true, we can help. Our staff has heard thousands of consumer complaints, making us experts in providing you the answers to many questions in the timeshare industry.

Case in point:

William, a timeshare owner, was at home one evening when he got a call from a company claiming to have a buyer for his timeshare. He believed the caller only because a month earlier, he got a similar call from a different company offering to list his timeshare for sale. The listing company said that they would market his timeshare for sale at a profit to him of almost double what he paid. He had a feeling that it was to good to be true, but went along with it anyway because they offered a 90-day money back guarantee if it didn't sell. After he paid the fee of $600.00 to list his property, he thought, “well I only have to wait 90 days and if it doesn't sell I get my $600.00 back.”

Well the call to buy his timeshare came exactly 60 days after he paid the listing company. The so-called buyer told him, they found his ad on the listing companies website and they were willing to pay the asking price. The only condition was they wanted him to pay the closing costs.

William decided, after receiving very official looking documents, this was fair and wired the closing costs of 20% to a so-called escrow account. Once the money was wired William never heard from the company again, and because he wired the money to the company, the money was as good as gone. He notified the authorities after calling Timeshare-Answers for advice.

If only William had called us before giving any money to either company, he would have been provided with the information that would have saved him from this elaborate scam.

Many of these timeshare SCAMS happen daily to consumers all over the world. It seems there is a new one popping up everyday. Do not fall victim to a resale scam or a resort scam. Call Timeshare-Answers before you pay anything to anyone when it comes to your timeshare. 888-722-2648
